- 5.0 / 5.03 ReviewsIt's a MiracleGreat winter beer!! The more it ages the better it gets, definitely doing this one again!!March 7, 2018Great Holiday BeerI made this one last year as an extract kit. This year, I did the AG and I must say, the difference is pretty large. the AG version has a much deeper roasted flavor and the spices seem to be as not as over powering. Great color without the caramel flavor. I would reccomend 1.5 packs of the S04 yeast. this beer borders on violence when fermenting during the first few days. The taste is very well balanced and smooth. people that don't even prefer darker beers love this one.December 16, 2016
