Product Details

Fit standard 750 ml and 1.5 liter wine bottles, best inserted with a floor or bench corker.

First quality agglomerated corks made from uniform shavings and unused portions of cork, and are mixed with appropriate food grade glue to form a dense, well-made closure. Chamfered and printed with a decorative grape leaf pattern.

First Quality #9 corks create a tight seal with the bottle, making it ideal for aging wine or high gravity beers.

Nice corks at a great value
These are really nice corks. I've used them many times and they do not leak, I have never had one "dry" out, I keep my wine stored on its side, but still have experienced issues with other corks.

Can you use these corks dry from the bag to bottle your wine or do you need to clean them up?
A shopper on Jan 3, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, can be used dry. I use a Portuguese style stand cork press, so dry insertion is easy. What I normally do for sanitation is very briefly soak corks in sanitation solution (acid) and then in boiled then cooled water bath. I've never had an obviously contaminated cork upon opening a bottle , but I don't store my homemade wines longer than 6-9 months.
How many corks per order?
R A on Dec 5, 2015

They come in bags of 30 or 100. There's a drop-down menu near the "add to order" button where you can choose.
