the opening of the bag is too narrow so it because difficult to stir grain and keep the bag from falling completely in the pot

It works too well for my intentions. Instead of using hop bags during a brew, I planned to just filter them out afterwards transferring from pot to fermenter. It took absolutely forever as the hops clogged the bag up and the wort wouldn't hardly drain out. But I guess it did it's job.

Bags are strong and work well.

I bought this for my cider press, and it works great. I also pressed out a bunch of grapes, from my home made wine, and it cleaned up well, no holes, even with firm pressing. I'm glad I bought 2, as I can use one for cider and one for wine, and not worry about residual staining colors.

I made the mistake of ordering this larger bag instead of the 18 3/4" x 19." The bag worked fine but was way to large for my 5-gallon partial mash needs.

I decided to try using this bag in my mash tun because I was tired of digging grains out and making a mess. The bag works fantastic for keeping your system free of grains and keeping clean up easy....however, make sure you mix the grains thoroughly during the mashing process, because if you don't you will have a dough ball in the middle of your grain and your beer will suffer...

Used it in my first mini mash and had no problems.

I tried using this for my first all grain brew. Upside down colander in bottom of cooler and this to hold hte grains. It didn't quite hold all the grains and sunk down and let a lot out of the top. I'm not sure if that was user error or not. However, while not ideal for all grain - this is the perfect size for 3 gallon all grain or partial/mini mash batches. I'll save the bag for that, but try something else next 5 gallon all grain brew.

Large enough and strong enough for brew in a bag. I have used this bag for 13 lbs of grain with room to spare. Not large enough to fit over the outside of a 10 gallon pot, but it was not a problem.
