Hydrometer
Worked well but broke on the second use. set into hydrometer test tube and it hit the bottom and shattered instantly. Probably some fault on me but very weak glass.

Too skinny
The tube you put hydrometer in is to skinny it's hard to tell if your getting an accurate reading sometimes because the hydrometer is bouncing against the sides.

works good
Easier to read then the cheaper wide range hydrometers, but still not as easy to read as the Lab Grade Hydrometer .980-1.020. If I break this one I dont know if I would replace it.

Good Hydrometer
MUCH easier to read than the typical triple-scale hydrometers. I never brew anything bigger than 1.070 O.G. beers this days, and my F.G. is never below 1.000, so this narrower scale hydrometer makes it much easier to read. Each gradient on the scale is about twice as big as my old hydrometer.

Worth the money
Well worth the extra $’s to get better readings

Great hydrometer with a few minor flaws
Just got my hydrometer, and the first thing I did after inspecting it was check the calibration. Here are my observations:PROs:- Measured 1.000 in 60*F near RO water (my water is super soft with almost no mineralization.)- Fits snug in it's case, so it seems well protected.- Easy to read, "no squint" well defined major & minor graduations.CONs:- No calibration temperature note on scale. If you didn't read/notice it in the item description on the web site, you wouldn't know it was calibrated at 60*F.- My case is too tight to accurately float the hydrometer. It binds slightly on the side causing inaccurate readings (I had to use another larger tube to get a good reading.) It's great for storing, not so good for measuring.- No instructions. Not a real biggie, but if you are new to the hobby, it would be nice to have a little documentation with the instrument.Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and feel this is a good buy. I'd recommend it.

Excellent and accurate!
If you're still using only that tried and true triple-scale hydrometer, consider adding this smaller range hydrometer to your arsenal! Smaller range yet still standard size means it's easy to read, with nice wide spaces for greater accuracy. 1.000-1.070 makes it great for all but the beefiest of beers.

Bam! Crushes the Triple-Scale!
This is the best $12 you will spend on brewing gear! No more squinting to try to get your readings. And this sucker is perfectly calibrated. When this one breaks I will most certainly buy another.
