They work good for what I use them for. I don't use them for their intended purpose

durable, reusable, perfect for straining wort.
After receiving this, I wish I'd ordered sooner. It fits snug/perfect inside a standard fermenting bucket. I didn't need clips or straps or anything. It collected all the trub, and took about 2 mins to complete strain 3 gallons of wort. I see this as a "must have" item from now on.

Mesh Straining Bag
Perfect!
June 11, 2016
Good Product
The 18 3/4" x 19" fine mesh straining bag works really well. It seems to be very durable and is easy to use. I've used it twice so far for partial mash brews. While the bag does stain from the mash, it doesn't affect future brews.

Nice bag!
I'm at a loss for words- it does what its supposed to do! I have used it 5 times so far and it doesn't show any signs of wear or failing. I'd buy it again if I had a need.

Exactly what we needed
Needed to replace a mesh bag that we had gotten from who knows where. We put crushed berries in it instead of just putting them straight into the crock when making wine. Makes straining a breeze.

Perfect
Perfect bag for straining wort.

Tight fit, works great.
Ordered this with my first partial mash kit. The bag fits very tight on my NB kettle, which is actually good. Easy to clean and re-use.

Perfect fit for 12.5" Pot
Used this for my first partial mash and it worked out great. This size was just barely large enough to fit over the lip of my 12.5" diameter stockpot. It was a tight fit, though, so if your pot is any larger I would look for a larger bag.

Good product
I purchased this bag 1st for BIAB, worked good but did NOT fit over the top of our 7.5 gallon brew pot, I then ordered the 24"x24" Brewmaster Filter Bag that did fit over the top...worked great as hop bag to contain the hops for removal from the wort...

What is this made of?

BEST ANSWER: Nylon.
Draw string?
Rodney E on Feb 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No. No draw string. I just tie in a loose knot or tie off with cotton string.
Does this bag have the same mesh size as the smaller "hop bag" (8" x 9.25") that you sell?
F O on Jul 21, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The mesh is just as fine and should filter out any common homebrew or winemaking ingredients. I hope that answers the question!
