Product Details
Fresh and vibrant, this white wine has aromas of dried fruit, pineapple, white grape, and lychee--it's a virtual fruit salad in a glass!

Master Vintner Moscato makes 6 gallons of soft, luscious wine, with a rounded finish of tropical and stone fruit that begs for another sip.

The fruit in this wine begs to be complemented and challenged. Pairing with melon wrapped in prosciutto works on two levels: the melon showcases the acidity behind the lush fruit, and the sweetly savory prosciutto highlights the perfumed fruity sweet notes. Scallops sautéed in butter do the same, playing on the themes of acid and fruit, while peach slices, slid into individual glasses, topped with Muscat and allowed to chilled for an hour are a fabulous treat, especially with Danish blue cheese on the side.

Serve quite cool (45-50F) for a refreshing and zesty experience, or use as a base for white Sangria for a real crowd pleaser.

Master Vintner Moscato
My wife loves the Moscato that I have made in the past. So I tried this product because I have had success with other styles. This is not the tropical and stone fruit finish that she is used to.

how long is the process of making this wine?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think this one took me 25-28 days. Start to bottling. I had to let it sit a big longer due to temperature being a bit colder than the yeast would have preferred.
How's it taste? I just finished my first batch with this kit. My wine tastes more like Chardonnay then Moscato. I let it clear for 8 days. It's rather dry and seems on the strong side.
A shopper on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can always add a little more sugar to sweeten to your taste. Also, 8 days isn't long and initially the flavors are a bit muddled by yeast, but as it clears over a month you'll start to experience the character of the grapes.
Is the finished product slightly bubbly like most moscatos?
A shopper on Jan 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: If you ferment cool and bottle without regarding you will have some small amount of bubbles. To make a truly sparkling wine you'll need a Cornelius keg, CO2 tank and regulator.
What's the alcohol content?
A shopper on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That depends on a few things. Normally Moscato is around 6~8% however if you add some extra fermentable (sugar, honey, fruit puree/juice, etc) then you'll end up with something stronger. But it won't be a Moscato anymore. That's not necessarily bad -- experiment. Raspberry Moscato is quite delicious. But! If you do not monitor your gravity (once every other day at least; I recommend daily) and stop the fermentation before it gets too dry, you will have to backsweeten. That's not necessarily a bad thing either. You can let this kit ferment all the way out, and then backsweeten with a blend of table sugar and distilled water until you get just the right balance of flavor. My wife loves carbonated Moscato so I like to keg & force carbonate this kit.
What's the OG / ABV on this? Directions say something about 1.080 .....
