Installed Megapot 1.2 thermometer on 8gallon Tall Boy kettle. Installation was fast and easy. Have brewed one extract and two all grain recipes without leaks. Large dial is easy to read in dim evening light.

Bought the 30g megapot almost two years ago and the thermometer quit working. It is the "ferenters favorite" that came with the kettle. Will this thermometer work as a direct replacement ?

BEST ANSWER: It might work, i think it would leak though, the bucket might crack from the hole.
