Muntons DME Light
It's exactly what you'd expect - a good, light DME. I really use it for making yeast starters by pouring boiling water onto ~1 cup of DME then sticking it in the freezer until it comes down to my target temp for pitching. Works great!

great dme
This is the best DME I've ever used, easily. Fresh and malty flavor, and dissolved super well in hot water. i don't know if they do something different, but it didn't clump a bit. Might be too dark for very pale beers, but it packs much more flavor than other "light" dme products.

Best all around dme
This stuff is simply awesome. It has more body and flavor than extra light and is better than Briess Light in my opinion. I use this when I don't want to fool with all grain and to be honest it's hard to tell the difference in the final product. It works great for ipa's and stouts and everything in between.

What is the Lovibond/SRM on this malt?
A J on Aug 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This lists as being "10 EBC" ; which is the European Brewing Convention color rating. EBC is about twice the SRM # we tend to use in the U.S., so it's about 5 SRM. - Mike W, Northern Brewer
what other ingredients are needed to make beer?
L A on Jun 22, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Usually a person would use malt extract, and hops, and yeast. Adding "specialty grains" can give additional flavor and complexity to a beer, most of our beer kits have all of these components. -Mike W, Northern Brewer
Does the 20% discount apply if I pick up a box of light DME at the St. Paul store, avoiding shipping charges?

That promo was good for in-store purchases as well. It has since expired but you could ask them to extend it for you.
