I have read reviews of this product that were not favorable. I brew several different recipes and this product seems to keep the pH at 5.2. At least that's what the test strips indicate. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is cost.

i just thought i would give it a try it seems to work as stated my mash worked off faster and had a greater yield with no off flavors.
