Alexander Pinot Noir 46 oz.
Noble red with light-medium body and red fruit flavor.
I've used the pinot in blends as well as a nice stand-alone red medium/medium-light bodied wine. I found it was palatable very early in aging without major aggressiveness. It works well in blends as I've used it to mix with some of the port kits to mellow them out, to spread the total production, and provide a unique and agreeable diversion from the standard. Some of my more popular blends are due, in part, to use of this nice easy-to-make utility wine.
The Merlot can that I bought like this was crushed. I'm very disappointed in a company that would send a can in such condition. I am unable to use it for a while and am not sure it will last on the shelf in its crushed condition until I can work on it in several months. Bent cans spoil faster - especially ones that look like they were crushed from 3 directions. I don't plan on purchasing from this company again.
i have tried experimenting with this ,,,one gallon batches work but i only found the assmanshausen yeast to work very good... i liked the cab and merlot better
