Overall very good

The only reason this is four stars instead of 5 is what’s already been noted—a batch yields 30 bottles, the “all inclusive” kit is half a dozen bottles short. Be sure to have extra bottles on hand when you get to the bottling step! That complaint aside, it’s a good product overall!

Complete Wine Recipe Kit; bottles and corks

Kind of hard to say your kit is complete when you only include 24 bottles. Everyone knows a that making 6 gallons of wine equates to approximately 30 bottles of finished wine. So I was six bottles short but I always have extra on hand. I just finished bottling so will have to wait on the tasting results, but the process was normal with no issues.

Too soon to tell but

This is a 3 for now because I feel (based on prior experience with Northern Brewer) it will all work out, but this far it has not exactly been smooth. To begin with, the “complete” kit lacked several items of necessary (per the instructions) equipment which necessitated a second order which has not yet been shipped (4 days). The most inexplicable thing was that a kit designed to produce 30 bottles of wine came with (you guessed it) 24 bottles. Huh? I suppose I could use milk jugs but that just seemed wrong. I hope that the equipment and bottles will ship soon and maybe I will then get a chance to review the finished product. For now I am “Thirsty in Florida “
