It worked as advertised. I used it on a Bourbon barrel stout for the oak chips. It looks like it will work equally good for hops in the secondary

Filter Working Great for Dry Hopping and in the Boil Kettle
The Hop Filter for FastFerment Conical Fermenter is really working great for me. I bought it for dry hopping and it does that very well. I am using pellet hops and very few particles get past the screen. I also experimented a little by drilling a small hole in the rim and using a piece of copper wire to suspend it in the boil kettle. I then run my circulation pump during the boil into the hop filter where the pellet hops are very effectively contained. Much less wasted beer now. :)
