Typical alpha: 18-23% This new German variety was bred at the Hop Research Institute in Hull, Germany, and released in 2012. It is very interesting in that it has an incredibly high Alpha Acid level, at around 20%, and also possesses an incredibly high essential oil content at 4-5 mL/100g. This variety has a bold taste and distinctive flavor with intense floral and fruity aroma with fresh minty notes.
