Product details

Forget what the local forecast says. It's pouring pure sunshine anywhere you're pouring Grapefruit Pulpin'. Whether you're looking to escape the winter blues or find the perfect pairing for a summer afternoon, each pint of Pulpin' is like a fresh Florida grapefruit grove bottled up into a single refreshing serving.

Packed with the freshest ingredients and easy instructions, this beer recipe kit yields an IPA boasting hints of apricot, peach, cantaloupe and lemon as it dives into crisp grapefruit flavor. Its citrusy hop aroma is laced with notes of ruby red grapefruit, complementing a hoppy, lingering bitterness.

Due to the high starting gravity of this kit, we recommend pitching multiple packs of yeast or preparing a yeast starter for best results.

Good IPA

I have brewed this kit many times. Very good beer.
Only four stars because of the amount of sediment in bottles.
I use hop bags for all the hop additions during the process.
Does anyone else do this?
What can I do to reduce the amount of sediment?

I kegged the batch and it is great! By far my best so far enjoying.

Very good beer

The Grapefruit Pulpin is a very drinkable beer. Quite happy with it. As some have noted the color is a bit darker and it’s not quite as hoppy as the original, but all in all a solid grapefruit IPA

Great product as usual! Thanks again.

Easy brew

Overall easy brewing process. Would suggest using a filter for dry hopping during secondary fermentation and racking around the sludge while bottling/kegging your brew. Definitely smells like grapefruit IPA, but doesn’t really have the taste of a grapefruit IPA.
