Quality kit
Really enjoyed making this kit with my fiance. She's always been interested in Cider and this was the perfect Christmas gift. 2 qualms, it was confusing as a first time buyer to see the instructions on the outside of the bag being so basic, and the indepth on the inside. I wanted to look at the instructions so ensure I knew what I was doing before opening the bag and commiting to the brew. Once I opened the bag the juice concentrate was open and I had to move forward without reading the instructions first. 2nd qualm is the bag required 1kg of sugar per bag of juice concentrate, and the kit on provided 910g of sugar. Other than these two small issues, phenomenal kit and easy to use.

Great kit for beginners
I would definitely buy this again. I bought the homebrewers kit and the hard apple cider kit. It was super easy. The instructions were clear. The brewing supplies were good quality. When I went to transfer to another bucket to remove the lees then I tasted the cider and it was so good that I started drinking it right away. It was a very quick brew and I was able to share it with my family for Christmas. They were all impressed.

Kit was easy to start but instructions were not great. I still don’t know if I had added the right amount of water. Should the total be 5 or 6 gallons? I didn’t know I would need to purchase separate priming sugar. I added one apple sliced up and some honey because I was at the six gallon mark and was concerned about flavor and IBU.
