Medusa features a higher oil content than most other hops which gives it more unique and fuller flavors and aromas. Intense guava, melon, apricot and citrus fruit are the main flavor and aroma characteristics of Medusa hops. Because of its low alpha acid we recommend using Medusa as a late kettle and dry hop addition to fully emphasize the full, unique, exotic range of flavors and aromas. Excellent as an aroma hop in IPAs, Pale Ales and anything that is looking for strong aromatics.
