A widely used strain in the production of Witbier, Grand Cru, sweet mead, and cider. Grand Cru produces spicy phenolics which are balanced nicely by a complex ester profile. The subtle fruit character and dry tart finish will complement wheat malt, orange peel and spice additions typical of Wits. Tolerant of alcohol up to 12%.
|Yeast Disclaimer||We strongly recommend ordering dry yeast in the summer months. We do include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeasts. It is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will survive the trip given transit times and particularly hot temperatures.|
