Usage Rate:

Most commercial breweries use 1-3 pounds of fruit puree per gallon of beer. Eleven pounds of puree is a great size for 5-gallon batches.

When making a Melomel use between 1.25 and 2.2 pounds of fruit puree per gallon depending on the flavor and aroma profile you desire.

When adding fruit puree to beer or mead, please take into consideration that 11 lbs of puree has a volume between 1 to 1.4 gallons. This will affect your final volume.

Great

I used the whole 4.4 pounds in a 5 gallon batch of wheat ale that turned out great. Oregon was my previous goto brand but has been hard to find. This turned out just as well with a very strong fruit vibe and fresh, jamy flavor.

Good quality

Took a short cut with this product and am pleased. Usually use fresh raspberries. Product delivered quickly, taste out of bag was tart, with nice fruit overtone. Used it for a 4gal cider batch with a saison yeast, oct/21. Apples were some local Macintosh that I picked and pressed. Now racked in a co2 keg and first taste allows some nice fruit flavor and tartness. Cost of fruit this way was better than when I buy picked fruit and comparable to the fresh I have picked myself here in Washington state. Will use again.
