German Bohemian Pilsner Malt - Weyermann®

My local brew supplier does not stock pilsner malt but I can depemd on NB to have it

Brew was excellent, nailed my numbers, Reinheitsgobot, no additives!
Bummer was, the curled metal sliver that got caught in my spunding valve.
I had it set for 13psi, but it was bubbling already at 2psi. I had to take the spunding valve apart, found the metal. It was something from inside the valve, on my BrewBuilt X2 fermenter.
Beer turned out decent, but I lost 2 points on ABV, because of the spunding valve. I would definitely purchase both malts again, from N.B.

Excellent malt. Perfect base for many authentic pilsner and light lager styles.

Gets a 5 star review for quality. Converts well and great flavor notes. Only thing to note is that my second order of the exact same product produced a much darker beer (overall grain bill was the same). So I’m not sure if the maltsters changed their process? Or I was given the wrong one? Either way, made nice beer.

Orders are always correct and well packaged. Product is fresh which results in great beer every time!
