WLP060 American Ale Blend - White Labs Yeast
This blend celebrates the strengths of California - clean, neutral fermentation, and versatile usage. It adds two other strains that belong in the same "clean/neutral" flavor category. The additional strains create complexity to the finished beer, and will taste more lager-like than just WLP001. Hops flavors and bitterness are accentuated, but not to the extreme of WLP001. Slight sulfur will be produced during fermentation.
Apparent attenuation: 72-80%.
Optimum temp: 68°-73° F
*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs will all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

Have made a few cream ales with this blend, all have turned out clean, with a very light fruity ester to the nose. Even though my temp control has not been great (65-74F in one case), the fermentations have been reasonably quick, even without making a starter (5gal, OG 1.050-1.070).
Overall a great performing yeast for your classic american ales.
This yeast bubbled for two weeks and I detect some lager like flavors. I don't think it works well for my pale ale so il leave this one to more experienced brewers.
I use this yeast all the time, fast fermentation time, excellent finnished product, user frendly allways ready to go in 3 to 6 hours.
