Product Details
Minnesotans know more about keeping warm than just about anybody in the world. That's why we patterned our delicious Winter Warmer recipe after a famous locally brewed winter ale. This beer starts big and malty, and finishes with a warming alcohol note. It is hopped with spicy Willamette hops. Don't forget, a bottle of Winter Warmer makes a great stocking stuffer!

Excellent beer with appropriate aging
Brewed this kit as directed. Followed the aging directions. Was not my favorite beer. Didn’t care for it after the recommended aging period. Three months after bottling and i’m Wishing I had saved more of it. Became everything the description said it would be. Definitely brew it, and order something else to brew and drink while you wait. Your patience will be well worth it.

Winter Warmer a Winner
great beer. It would be nice though if the instructions had pre-boil gravity and final gravity for a reference point.

What should the target FG be as well as an estimated ABV?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The FG is going to be dependent upon your mash schedule and particularly the mash temperature. FG is also dependent on how attenuative the yeast strain is. So, individual results will vary and thus the ABV estimation from the OG-FG difference will also vary. When I brewed this it finished around 1.010 with a 152F single infusion mash and fermented with Wyeast 1728.
