Great product. I have found more success by hydrating the irish moss prior to addition. Add about 3 tbsp of water to 1 tsp of irish moss at the beginning of the brew day. Add it to the boil as normal. (Posted on 11/11/12)
USE THIS STUFF! Review by Brian

I was having issues with clarity and lingering yeast textures and flavors. I almost gave up on home brew because I figured thats just the way it would be without fancy equipment. This moss provides great clarity and removes any yeast characters!!!! I'm a home brewer for life now. (as if there were any doubt.) (Posted on 10/17/12)

I use this in every batch and all my beers are clean and clear. No left over yeast flavor on short fermenting beers and a crystal look to all brews. (Posted on 4/30/12)

Makes crystal clear beers Review by Del

I use this in just about every batch of beer I brew, extra pale ales, IPAs, oktoberfest, 60 schilling kit...
The clarity is amazing. I have not noticed any off flavors, nor have fans of my beers. (Posted on 1/13/12)
Seems to work Review by Robert

Dunno, but I've been tossing this in to every batch since I first started brewing. Seems to work well. (Posted on 11/12/11)
Works Well Review by Michael
I used this in a batch of Wee Heavy that took 1st place in its category in a HB competition. Described as "a beautiful beer" by one of the judges, it was crystal clear. The bottle says 1 tsp, but accordingly to Al Korzonas, author of 'Homebrewing: Volume I', it is effective with as little as a 1/4 tsp per 5 gallons if you're worried about off-flavors. Great Review by Brian
Every beer I've used this in has better clarity than every beer I haven't used this in. Some people claim they can taste an off flavor in beers made with irish moss, but come on. You can taste one teaspoon of a crumbled leaf distributed in a 5 gallon batch of beer? Please. If you want to increase your clarity, use this (note: I don't have extensive experience with other finings). Instructions are right on the bottle: add one teaspoon during the last 15 minutes of boiling. (Posted on 11/12/10)
