This bag just saved my batch. Review by David

Brewed the bourbon barrel porter AG kit today. Had only my second stuck spare in quite a few years of brewing. While wondering what the heck to do next, I remembered that I bought one of these several years ago and threw it in my equipment storage bin. I was able to scoop the mash out of the tun and strain it gently through the bag. Very little grain made it into the boil pot. Whew. Good item to have in your bag of tricks. (Posted on 10/12/14)
BIAB with 11g Brew Kettle Review by Matthew
Rating
Fits perfectly in my 11g brew kettle. It is on the coarse side as it states so some finer grain material does make it into the kettle. I also use it to filter when pouring the wort into the fermenter. 2 brews with this bag and looks like it'll hold up for a long time. (Posted on 1/28/14)
Great bag for oak chips, coffee grounds, grains, etc. Review by George

This bag is excellent when steeping/soaking just about anything with finer particles. I have used it to steep oak chips and coffee grounds in a keg and it didn't let anything through. Haven't used it for steeping grains yet but I'm certain it will work well for that also. (Posted on 1/18/14)
You should buy a lot of these Review by Marten

This bag is awesome. If you are low on fund and cannot make a mashtun, use this bag. This bag is huge and will def help out.
I reused mine a few times, there is no need to throw this away, it will last for a few brews.

Buy more than one, you will thank yourself later. (Posted on 1/15/14)
BIAB Review by Drew

This is a great bag for doing BIAB. It can fit a pretty large grain bill with ease. I think my last one was around 13lbs and it held up just fine. It would work great for specialty grain simmers as well. (Posted on 1/6/14)

Steeping Grains Necessity Review by Brian

If you are steeping lots of grains this works great! Fits over my 6 gallon kettle. Was able to easily add 3+ pounds of crushed grains and 2 cans of pumpkin. After 1 hour steep, easy to remove. Bag is rinsed and ready to go for future reuse. (Posted on 11/27/13)

I am an extract with specialty grains type brewer. Got to try the bag the other day. I liked not having to fish separate bags for the grains and each hops that I use out of my kettle. Worked well. (Posted on 11/2/13)

Add about 5 to your cart now... Review by Taylor

...no seriously. If you BIAB, then you have forgotten to add this to you cart at least that many times before. No sense in not stocking up a bit so you arent stuck browsing Walmart early saturday morning looking for a poor substitute.

But seriously, this has been the best BIAB solution that I have found yet. I have brewed with up to 18lbs of grain in one of these bags in a 10gal pot. Im starting to think my back will give out before the bag does.

My only note of caution is that it is nylon and should be kept off the bottom of the pot if possible. Other than that this thing is perfect! (Posted on 10/7/13)

The bag is the perfect size for BIAB and fits perfect over our turkey fryer.. It works well for the 3 gallon or the 5 gallon recipes. Did have to order more because we let the bag touch the bottom of the fryer during process. (Posted on 10/2/13)
Perfect for BIAB Review by Mark

This is perfect for brew in a bag. It is well constructed and very sturdy. When pulling the bag and draining after the mash, I never need to be concerned about it breaking. This thing is tough.

It's also easy to clean. I just rinse it and shake it out like a rug (best done outdoors obviously). I turn it inside out and repeat, then I let it dry and its ready for my next brew day.

I bought an extra one because I have a habit of misplacing things. I see no reason why one of these wouldn't last for several years at least. (Posted on 9/18/13)

I almost exclusively BIAB now - love the smaller yield, and it's a lot of fun. These bags are durable, plenty big, and are easy to clean. (Posted on 9/6/13)

Used this for a partial mash a few weeks ago. I bag was a little large for the pot I was using, but it worked great. It was easy to clean afterwards, too. (Posted on 8/19/13)
Works well for BIAB Review by Kyle

I did about 4 BIAB brews with this bag. Fit perfectly into my 14.6 diameter, 10 gallon kettle. I would recommend this bag for those getting into BIAB, but I did notice some tearing at the seams on my last brew session, which caused me to throw it out. I never went above 15lb of grain (dry) in the bag. For the price, it's worth trying, and overall less of hassle than having a custom bag made so long as you keep your grain bill below 15 lb or are willing to buy a new bag every couple of brews.
