If you’re reading this, you obviously appreciate good beer. Or someone in your life does. Which means you need a starter kit with truly high-quality beer ingredients:
Starter Kit Options:
Block Party Amber Ale: Gather up the neighbors and block off the streets, it's time to bring out some pints! Deep garnet glow. Friendly flavors of toasty bread crust, caramel, and an inkling of floral and herbal hop character. A true crowd pleaser.
Chinook IPA: American IPA beer kit. Lighter in body than our other IPAs. Lower gravity, which enhances bitterness + reduces aging requirements. Reddish-gold. Thick, resinous Chinook aroma that lingers after the glass is emptied. View recipe
Hank's Hefeweizen: "Hefe" means yeast, "Weizen" means wheat. Long ago in the south of Germany, the two combined to create this tasty sought-after wheat beer. This popular non-hoppy Hefeweizen beer recipe kit delights a wide range of beer lovers with its medium body and effervescence. Fill a stein and serve with a slice of lemon. Prost!
Use testing equipment to measure the progress of your fermentation and precisely test your final ABV.

Going into this, I had zero experience brewing beer. The instructions were clear, and the kit had everything I needed. After two weeks of brewing and two weeks of carbonation, the ale turned out deliciously!

My adult son, daughter, and I attempted our first HomeBrew experience as a stay-at-home activity. We were all a little skeptical, but much to our surprise upon our first tasting this past Thursday, our Amber Ale was REALLY GOOD. It was a fun activity for the three of us to get involved in together. The directions were simple and straight-forward....easy to follow. And the beer was a GREAT SUCCESS! Just waiting to empty a couple bottles before we start brewing our next batch. If we can do it.....SO CAN YOU! Good luck!
I'm drinking my first batch of beer: Block Party Amber Ale. I'm very surprised it turned out so well.
I participated in your online brewing class in early May and I took to heart that one must drink beer whilst making beer. It came from a brewmaster so this grasshopper listened and drank heroically when brewing batch #1. Grasshopper missed the wee instruction to add the hops during the boil. I should have known better but it's been 20 years since I last brewed beer at home and heroic beer drinking can create some downside risks. When I realized what I hadn't done, I was so angry that the recipe did not have this important task highlighted. Please consider highlighting or bolding important steps in future recipe releases. After fuming for a few minutes and drinking more beer, I added the hops to the fermentation bucket. I expected to drink a delightful homemade sparkling molasses potion in 4 weeks. Surprise, surprise...the beer tastes just as good if not better than some of the beers at my local brewery. Thanks for putting together a good list of solid ingredients with your beer kits and making the process almost foolproof!
Such an easy kit if you've never brewed beer before.
