Got this to go along with the three previous taps. GREAT faucet! I like the easy disassembly for cleaning too. (Posted on 12/17/13)

This great looking and drip free faucet was the final touch on my renovation of a mid 50's GE fridge. It's the only way to serve home brew! (Posted on 11/13/13)

Works perfect, install could not be easier. I did get a $5 faucet wrench at NB to tighten. No drips. Great. (Posted on 10/26/13)

The better the beer gets to my glass, the more I like it. And this faucet does the job and I am very pleased, plus it is easy going, low maintenance. 2 big thumbs up!

Great product, but make sure to clean regularly. Review by Rich

When a normal faucet gets dirty, it sticks and refuses to open. You can't get at your beer, and you're forced to clean it.

Perl faucets are a dream to operate. So much so that you might get complacent.

When these get dirty, the lever action on closing can start to stick a little. This means they stick open, and, if you're not careful, you can end up with a dripping faucet and a big mess. I ruined a rug AND lost part of a batch.

When they start to feel a little sluggish, clean them, or do it on a schedule. They're super-easy to clean. (Posted on 11/6/12)
1 for 2 Review by Thomas

I have 2 of these. The first one I purchased about 9 months ago works great. I purchased a second one about 5 months ago and it always felt "different" and not quite right. Last night it leaked several beers all over my floor and tearing it down and close inspection, it's loose laterally no matter how I assemble or adjust it. The throw arm with the ball for the valve appears to be not quite straight and like I said it wiggles side to side. 1 for 2, I guess. (Posted on 5/1/12)
Amazing Review by TDubs

Purchased two faucets from the new Minneapolis location in December. 3 kegs in, they have yet to stick or leak. Cleaning is insanely easy and reassembly couldn't be simpler. Extremely heavy handles may make these slip, but I have no problems with my pine handles. (Posted on 2/23/12)

This faucet has leaked twice on me so far. I wonder if this will become a weekly event. The older Perl faucets have never leaked. Mine leaks out the top, I just do not like the assembly. (Posted on 11/21/11)
Simple design, great results.... Review by TwoCanSam

I own this faucet as well as several of the older Perlick forward seal faucets. Yes, these feel somewhat "looser" due to fewer and smaller moving parts, resulting in less friction, but when assembled and tightened properly, they haven't leaked. With a less restrictive flow path they seem to create a little less foam as well. Certainly easier to disassemble and clean. I'll be putting my Perlick 425s for sale on eBay shortly for those of you who prefer the old style faucets. (Posted on 11/15/11)
Have 3 and they work great Review by Zacarho

I have 3 of the new style and 3 of the older. I will say I do like the older ones better. But the new ones are still very good. I have not had any issues with fitting in a standard shank like one of the other reviewers did. Used a faucet wrench and you should not have issues with being loose. Over all I’m very happy with them and they look beautiful on my kegerator. (Posted on 11/15/11)
Screw these Review by duxrok

I got these and tried to put them on my shanks, and they both started spewing beer all over the place. Turns out that the faucet doesn't fit onto the "standard" shanks like it is supposed to. So now I either get to dremel down the inside to make it fit, or order brand new shanks. Why should I have to buy shanks when I had some that supposedly work? Seems like a bad piece of engineering to me. I can't speak for how they pour since I have yet to even be able to get them installed. I wish I had never got these! (Posted on 7/4/11)
Not the greatest design Review by Znarf

This faucet is way to loose and doesn't work well with commercial tap handles do to weight. I do agree the older design is much better and plan on purchasing another one soon. (Posted on 6/13/11)
Love 'em! Review by Chris

The reviewers below are comparing this faucet to the old model, which I've never used, and I think they have been discontinued so it's a somewhat pointless argument.

I've used these for about 4 months so far and I'm amazed. No sticky faucet after 2 weeks of no use and easy to clean. I honestly don't understand why anyone even makes the "piston" style ones. (Posted on 3/6/11)

Agree the older ones are more solid. I have one and wish I would have gotten more. (Posted on 1/11/11)
Not all that.... Review by Russ

Compared to the original Perlick faucet this one has very noticeable deficiencies. Yes it has the forward seal design to prevent the sticky faucet syndrome, but it feels less stable and loose. It is too easy to bump and cause a leak if you are not careful. Also the advantage of being able to take it apart without removing the faucet from the shank is marginal. If you don't line up the plastic guide correctly it makes the faucet not even work and nothing is held back. Just buy the original, remove it from the shank and clean the whole thing, you will be much happier knowing all the residue inside is clean. (Posted on 9/25/10)

I recently picket up 2 of these faucets and have been using them for about 3 months now. They are hands down the best I've ever used. Had a few beers before going on vacation for 3 weeks, came home and poured a new beer with no sticky faucet. The action is so smooth it's unbelievable, they look great and are a breeze to take apart and clean. I highly highly recommend these. (Posted on 7/18/10)
