Product Details

Falconer’s Flight® is an exclusive proprietary hop blend created by Hop Union to honor and support the legacy of Northwest brewing legend, Glen Hay Falconer, who passed in 2002. The blend is comprised of many of the Northwest’s most unique hop varieties, including Citra®, Simcoe®, and Sorachi Ace along with experimental hops and numerous other NW varieties. Each hop has been hand selected for its superior aromatic qualities, imparting distinct tropical, citrus, floral, lemon and grapefruit tones. A portion of the proceeds go to support the Falconer Foundation, which supports brewers and brewing. Approximate Alpha Acid 10.5%.

The one hop to rule them all
What I like about these is that you only need to use one type of hop. Because of the mixture of hops, you get the full range of flavors but don't have to buy several different types. Makes an awesome ipa and works great for bittering, flavoring, aroma, and dry hopping.

Perfect Pale Ale
Used these hops to make a pale ale for the summer and they did not disappoint. Had them for the full extent of bittering, aroma, flavoring, and dry hopping. The perfect blend for a pale ale. Like the fact that you only need one type of hops to get a full range of flavors. One the initial taste up front I get a tropical flavor, but on the back note comes the grapefruit lemon flavor. I think the next batch I will need to make 10 gallons.

In Brasil we have no Falconer's Fligth. How can I substitute this hop? some similar?

BEST ANSWER: Closest substitutions would be a combination of citra, simcoe, cascade and/or amarillo. I would try half cascade and half citra.
