This device moves a serious volume of liquid! I use it with a drilled carboy bung to ensure the liquid does not come out the top...it will if your drill is on high. I tightened the nut down on the blade slightly as the fit was tight when getting this into the glass carboy. I cannot imagine degassing my wine without it! I bought this as my full time oxygenator for my beer. A few minutes with the cordless drill and you will have all the oxygen you need in your wort to get a rockin' fermentation rolling in no time. Easy to clean and I never have to worry about an empty oxygen tank. The bonus is I can use it for wine or mead later, when I get around to them. (Posted on 11/17/11)Rating
