The 1 gallon glass jug is well made. It is exactly what I wanted to hold water and juice in the refrigerator. This jug is also very reasonably priced. I love the fact that there was no minimum order quantity. Another site had a minimum order quantity of 4 jugs.

It does what a glass container should. It doesn't fit on the dishwasher though.

What is the empty weight of the jug?
W A on Jul 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have tried to respond 4 times now so if this doesn't work I am afraid it is off my plate. 1/2 gallon clear glass jug weighs 1 lb 11.6 oz.
Is the bottom of the interior flat enough to use with a magnetic stir bar on a stir plate for making yeast starters?
M A on Sep 19, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's not perfectly flat. It portably sits about 1/4" for a flat surface.
Recently got the 1 gallon first-timer's kit with Caribou Slobber, I'm not sure I yielded 1 gallon after brewing but didn't measure the carboy for a fill line to achieve 1 gallon. Do you guys have a sense for where the 1 gallon mark is on these? (at shoulder? base of neck? near the embossed markings? top of neck?) Thanks!
S E on Jan 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have not measured where the 1 gallon fill line is on the 1 gallon glass carboy either. Since I use it for making wine, the water is measured before combining with the fruit juice prior to placing in the carboy.
will the stopper and airlock that come with the 5 gallon kit fit this?
cody m on Dec 15, 2017
BEST ANSWER: You will want a #6 stopper or a 38 mm lid. Cheers!
what size drilled rubber stopper should i buy to fit the mouth of this jug?
M A on Aug 9, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A #6 stopper works best for this jug.
