Corn Sugar Review

I always bottle with corn sugar. It doesn’t affect the final flavor of the beer, and it works well. Brewdog333

Bottle conditioning

I brew mostly lagers and like to experiment with different ingredients. My latest is a licorice beer. These I like to bottle instead of kegging. By the time I bottle, the yeast has dropped out so I boil 3/4 cup of corn sugar in a couple of cups of water, cool to 90 degrees and add a 1/2 teaspoon of CBC-1 bottle/cask conditioning yeast. I add this to the beer at bottling time and it gives me perfect carbonation every time.
