Caribou Slobber Extract Beer Recipe Kit
It's brown, it's named after a large North American ungulate, and its name suggests oral incontinence. Ah, we market products with our minds, but we drink beer with our mouths! Which is why this American brown ale is sure to be your new favorite session beer.
Hard to believe so many enticing flavors can come from one beer recipe kit. But brew up a batch of Caribou Slobber and you'll find dense, drool-worthy layers of malt, caramel, baking chocolate, and a hint of light-roast coffee give way to reveal a hop character that will surprise you if you're used to drinking English brown ale.
The finish is complex but balanced, and the gravity is not so high as to keep you from having another.

This one is a gem - rich and full of flavor. Very east to brew if you simply follow instructions. One surprise - the fermentation starts quickly (within a few hours) and is only visibly active for a day or so (using dry yeast).
Most of my friends say they don't like dark beer, but when they taste this, they change their tune.
A very nice beer - great taste and extremely easy to brew - liquid yeast or dry does not matter. One of my favorites.
This is the first beer I brewed about 10 years ago. It is my favorite and I brew it about 2 times a year. This kit is now in bottles. My family and friends love it too. Vey nice dark brown ale, good winter and early summer beer.
Will be making this weekend. This is 3rd kit from Northern Brewer and I can't wait
