More About Winexpert Revelation
Inspiration & Innovation: Launched in 2021, Revelation was born from Winexpert’s ambition to create a wine that surpassed even its finest offerings. Each annual October release explores a new interpretation of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon through carefully selected ingredients, oak formats, and supporting varietals.
Small Batch. Big Potential: Revelation’s distinctive 10 L format produces just 11.5 L of finished wine, maximizing premium juice character in a smaller batch. The result is a bold, structured, cellar-worthy wine with remarkable depth and complexity, achieved without grape skins.
Innovative Oak: French Medium Plus oak spheres work alongside American Light and Medium oak chips and toasted oak granular. Added on Day 1 and transferred to the carboy, the spheres allow for fuller extraction and deeper oak integration throughout the winemaking process.
About Coombsville, Napa Valley
Napa Valley is one of California’s most celebrated wine regions, renowned for Cabernet Sauvignon. Its varied growing conditions produce distinctive wines prized for their concentration, structure, and complexity.
Located in southeastern Napa Valley, Coombsville received its American Viticultural Area designation in 2011. Its proximity to San Pablo Bay brings cooling fog and coastal breezes that slow ripening and extend hang time, allowing the grapes to develop concentrated flavors while retaining vibrant acidity.
Volcanic ash and river rock soils contribute underlying earth and mineral character. Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon is known for balancing black fruit intensity with elegance, offering rich flavors, polished tannins, and a refined mouthfeel.
Winexpert Revelation Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Food Pairings
Pair this bold red with peppercorn-crusted ribeye, grilled lamb chops, smoked brisket, or pizza topped with Parmesan, herbs, and truffle. For a cheese or charcuterie board, choose aged Gouda, sharp cheddar, Manchego, or Gorgonzola.
