Product details

Why limit yourself to one batch size? The 15-gallon MegaPot 1.2 brew kettle can accommodate 5 or 10 gallon batches. This 15 gallon kettle allows plenty of space to boil up to 12 gallons of wort. Brew for yourself one day, then whip up a double-batch with a friend the next. This kettle can also serve as a mash tun for 5-7 gallon All-Grain batches using the optional false bottom. While it could handle some 10 gallon recipes, the size may limit the grain bill to low-gravity beers.

MegaPot 1.2 is a masterpiece, not just another steel pot. Every detail has been thought through to enhance the beer making experience. Crafted of stainless steel for ease of cleaning. Stay cool silicone handles on the kettle and lid serve to limit scorching! The handles are riveted in place to aid in lifting a hot liquid-filled pot. No weld failures here! A polished stainless steel band surrounds the upper rim, reinforcing rigidity of the pot while adding a little bling. And that's not all. We've added the feature that every brewer wants in a kettle - graduated volume markers inside the kettle - one at each gallon. No more need for a sight glass! The heart of the kettle is a 4mm thick Tri-Clad bottom- made specifically for even heat distribution. The 1.2™ proportion of MegaPot has been scientifically designed to promote a vigorous boil and reduce off-flavors. And last of all, the MegaPot 1.2 logo is stamped on every kettle. When you have the best, show it off!

15 gal mega pot rocks!

This is my second megapot.... wish the 15 gallon had a Lil more head space like my 10 gallon... however this pot will still allow you to cook 10 gallons at a time, then sparge into a 10 gallon mega pot for hop boil... overall if the power goes out... I will still be making beer! Love the mega pot with false bottom... haven't scorched a batch yet!

Excellent for use as a mash tun

I am using this pot along with a false bottom from Northern Brewer as a mash tun in a RIMS setup. Only complaint is the locking mechanism on the valve, which I cut off.
