Nice Electric Brewer

Very nice electric brewer. The only other thing is I would like to see some sort of quick disconnects for wurt chiller other than that I am very pleased.

Stupid, simple, easy

Have to say that using this Anvil rig is almost as easy as extract brewing.

Bought a NB Ace of Spades CDA kit and other than some stumbles on my part with the procedures, it performed as advertised. The pump for recirculation (be VERY sure not keep the flow WAY down; I nearly stuck my mash) and also for transferring to the carboy is a gotta have. I've never had such an easy time with that part of the process.

The only thing I'd change is getting a 240v circuit set up in the garage. 120v works well, but I needed to keep the lid partially on to get nice rolling boil.

All in all, supremely pleased with the rig. Definitely will be using much more often than I did my extract kit.

Precision tool

Love my anvil foundry all in one brew system! For a beginner, the precision and simplicity of accurate temperature maintenance during brew day is a huge benefit. Start up cost may be more than you planned, but it is entirely worth the money.

ANVIL Foundry 10.5 Gallon - so far so good!

I've brewed my first batch with the ANVIL Foundry, trying to reproduce a batch that I previously brewed using malt extract. The resulting beer is very good and consistent with my previous batch. The brewing process was smooth and easy and so was the cleaning. I've used the 120V and even though 240V would bring the wort to a boil faster, I still think 120V is more than sufficient.
Overall I'm very happy with the system, I will see how things are going after several batches!

Great all-in-one system

This system was my first experience with all grain. I have to say the system is incredibly easy to use. My first 2 brews suffered from low efficiency, but that was more an issue on my side I believe. I HIGHLY recommend using the system on 240V as the 120V option is relatively slow to heat (about an hour to get to strike temp and another hour from mashout to boil) and the boil is not vigorous. But that's the beauty of this system. You have the ability to use 120 if that's the only option or can ramp it up to 240. Customer service was great as well and helped give me suggestions to improve my efficiency. I really look forward to brew day now and being able to adjust recipes to my liking.
