Product details

One stroke of the racking cane/piston assembly will start a siphon when immersed in as little as six inches of beer or wine; less than six inches may require a second stroke. This is the auto siphon model included in our starter kits.

Includes a removable diverter tip to minimize sediment pickup. Plastic construction; can be disassembled for cleaning.

Works best with 5/16" ID siphon hose (#7100), but 3/8" will work as well.

Auto-Siphon - OK

This Auto-Siphon is a good product that needs a Better Demo on how to use it. I looked at a YouTube Video's and it helps, but still has faults in operational method. I used to just apply suction to a racking tube and all was good using this old method.

Does it’s job

Works great, exactly as advertised, only issue I had was that the bottom cap that keeps it out of the junk was cracked when I got it

Siphoning cane a must.

Ordered the 5/16 racking cane/piston. Aka siphon. Worked great made my life so much easier. Like the info says one stroke and no stop flow. Priced right and worked like a charm.

Auto siphon

Wouldnt brew without one.

racking cane

this works pretty well to get your siphon going to transfer liquids. I did notice that the bottom plastic stand off cap that keeps it out of the sludge on the bottom of the jug was cracked and had to glue it back together to get the effect of not sucking junk into my bottles.
