Blichmann Hellfire Floor Burner
Blichmann TopTier burner lit the brewing world on fire in 2009 with the first burner made specifically for the needs of the homebrewer. No wonder it became the best selling and most respected homebrew burner in the market. Never resting, our team of beer Engineers and avid homebrewers just reinvented what a burner should be. Efficient, fast, and versatile. That new burner is appropriately named HellFire!
This dual mode capability burner is unlike anything else on the market and is sure to satisfy all your heating needs. No wonder it is patent pending! This custom made burner is tuned to operate in high efficiency mode, and also in a second high power mode. In the high power mode, you'll be amazed with 140,000BTU/hr output for blazing fast heating - double the power of our previous burner. Waiting for a boil is now a thing of the past. In the high efficiency mode, you'll get 80,000 BTU/hr and superb heat transfer to the wort and whisper quiet operation. Plenty of power to keep a rolling boil on a 20 gal batch of beer. Even our efficiency mode has significantly more power than the competition! To top off all that power we include a patent pending heat shield to keep that massive power off your valve and thermometer and direct it to your wort.
The HellFire stand burner bolts right up to our TopTier Modular Brewing Stand.

It’s a great element, seems very robust. With first cook galvanized coating peeled up like a defect.
It was fast, very very heat power, it takes 30minutes to take water from 19C to 75C, pretty much faster than my home stove.
When goes to cook phase, very powerful boiling, I had evaporated 1 gallon in 1 hour due to power.
Is an outside use product, I tried to start it inside my house, but it produced a lot of CO2, an my home Keep some time smelling like that! Read instructions first.
So, I test today in my brew day, and in my town we had today gusty winds, and it makes a little unstable this burner, and yellow flame intimidated me. I solved using some plates to block fast air moves.
The only detail that find no pretty, was galvanized coating.
Temperature is easily controlled.
Great burner. Ability to mix air/gas gives good temp control. Able to move temp rapidly. Use a Megapot 8 gallon with in ... could use something a little wider but works well!
Easy to set up. There's 2 settings like they advertise you just have to adjust the flow to get them. The first is when it's quiet right before it gets loud and the second is all out, obviously you can adjust between. I did a test run with 11 gallons of water in the ss brewtech bme kettle (20gal) and boiled for 1 hour on the highest setting and it boiled down to 7.5 gallons. About 32 to 30 percent rate of boil off on highest setting. Just a friendly fyi. Also it sits really low to the ground, I didn't get the leg extensions. The width can accommodate the 20 gallon kettle I have with a decent amount of wiggle room so you can narrow it down to fit more securely. I've only done a test run and one Brew session with this so far.
use only once, but a drastic improvement over previous burner. Super quiet, and definitely not a gas hog.
