Product details

Dial thermometer with a custom face and brewing-specific temperature range. Has an integral bulkhead for easy, weld-free installation in a stainless kettle.

The BrewMometer has a unique patent pending dialface that guides the brewer through the brewing process, helping to improve quality and consistency. The hermetically sealed glass face ensures a long life. The BrewMometer features a large 3" diameter dial with low parallax stepped face, a fine pointer, crisp large lettering, and a custom made temperature range.

The weldless model comes with an integral bulkhead for easy, weld-free installation in a stainless steel kettle. The patent pending weldless design forms a super rigid water-tight seal. Unlike other weldless thermometer options, this will not "wiggle" in the pot or leak. Requires a 1/2" diameter hole for installation.

Would Love to the Plate Chiller a 5-Star Review...

And I would when it comes to the product.

First, the chiller. It's amazing! If you can move to a plate chiller from the less-expensive copper tubing option, do so. The amount of money you'll save on your water bill will pay for the chiller within five or six brew sessions. It lives up to the hype.

As for why I can't give a five-star review, well, that comes down to my experience with Northern Brewer. They offered unapologetically terrible customer service throughout the process. Zero sympathy or support when my chiller was delayed. I always try to buy my brewing equipment from my local brew store or dedicated brewing websites; however, I will definitely think twice before ordering from them in the future.

Well Made and No Leaks

I put BrewMometers on my cooler mash tun and HLT. The sealing surface that contacts the vessel wall is small with a small o-ring. I was worried that they would leak. Fortunately neither have leaked over a number of batches. BrewMometers feel well made and should last a long time since there is a means to calibrated them. I would buy again.

Weldless BrewMometer

I purchased the BrewMometer to go with my MegaPot. Instructions were easy to understand. Product has worked great so far with no leaks.
