The mead is still in the secondary, but it is easy to make I am excited to try it in another month

This Cherry Bomb bombed!

This was my first and ONLY attempt to make mead. It was marked down and purchased at a time an additional discount, so it was reasonably priced.

I did follow directions to the letter, but the result was non-drinkable. Not 'tart', but as sour as lemon juice.

After tasting, I chucked the whole batch to recover the bottles.

Favorite Mead

First time trying mead, and it's awesome. I went to a mead tasting and disliked pretty much every one of them. So, I'll just stick to Cherry Bomb.

No cherry to this Bomb

I tend to be somewhat loose when I follow recipes. However, not having much experience with mead, I followed this one to the exact letter. I was very disappointed when, after several months of bottle finishing, the result was nothing like what I had hoped for. A rather dry, reddish/pink mead with no recognizable cherry flavor at all. To bad.
