Cold Crank®: Small Immersion Chiller

Sorry haven't had a chance to use this yet, though great price quick delivery and a good looking product. Had already brewed some product not from you but from a local turned out great but the cool down took so long, i found this chiller and it should shorten that time considerably. I've gotten other small items from your company also 5 stars. Thank you

Compact wort that works, good for people with limited storage space.

I bought this to use in my one gallon batches in hopes it would save me money on the money I was spending buying ice. I also bought the kitchen sink facet attachment, which unfortunately did not work on my kitchen faucet so to use, I had to hold the connection with one hand while holding the chiller with the other. The other problem is the chiller was too big to immerse completely in my wort. The problem here is you are supposed to put it in the boiling wort for five minutes to help sterilize it, and I couldn't get it all in there. I was worried about contamination, but both batches I used it on, turned out fine. I was able to chill both both batches in a reasonable time, but given how I had to hold the faucet, it was too much of a pain, so I am back to doing ice baths, and if I upgrade to 5 galloons, then I will try this again.

Totally beats an ice bath. Worked quick and effective on a 5 gallon batch!

Great product, greatly reduced wert chilling time.
