Product details

The Craft Peach and Passionfruit Hard Cider is light and fizzy combining both sweet and tart flavors. The sweet peach lifts the tangy passion fruit, making a very refreshing summer cider.

Each of Mangrove Jack’s cider varieties has been formulated with only the freshest and best quality fruit which is then pressed and concentrated using state of the art evaporators, and then cold filled into a pouch. All this effort we go to ensures that the natural flavor of the fruit is preserved, giving you cider which is fresh, crisp and especially good on a hot summer's day.

If you don't like apples, just remember a cider a day also keeps the doctor away.

Note: 2 lbs of Dextrose is required for proper fermentation. Other sugars, like brown sugar, can be used.

Pretty tasty

I took off a star because there is zero Passion Fruit presence. It I basically just a peach cider, but it’s a great base. I experimented with Carolina reaper peppers and liquid smoke, and no matter what I did, the cider turned out well. But the sweet tang of passionfruit was missing, so only four stars. My spicy, smoked peach cider has gotten lots of compliments though! So if you love peaches, don’t shy away from this

So good!

Every time I make this my friends can’t get enough.

This is the 2nd batch of Mangrove Jack's hard peach cider I've made and it seemed easier than the first. Didn't add a clarifier at the end so I'm waiting to see how the finished product differs if any from the first batch. The leftovers I sampled at bottling left me wanting more.

Great if you give it time

I have about a decade of brewing experience but this was only my second cider kit (for the wife who doesn’t care for the taste of hops). Both kits have suffered from intense rhino farts over the first week of fermentation. The instructions call for bottling after a week of fermentation but that would likely trap the sulfur in the beer. I bulk conditioned for an additional three weeks and then used a diffusion stone for 20 minutes to blow the remaining funk out of the solution. I also added potassium sorbate so that I could backsweeten with real sugar (I refuse to use artificial sweetener AND peach “essence”) and force carbonate in a keg. The final result is tart and flavorful. I’m not a cider lover but my wife approves. I only wish I had started it sooner... this is definitely a summer sipper.

Delicious and Refreshing

This cider is really easy to make. It makes a very crisp and refreshing cider. I thought there would be weird off-flavors. But, it's very clean. I'd buy this again. (I wish it was a tad more ABV :))
