Product details

Our Cream Ale is medium-bodied and smooth, gold in color and low in bitterness. The specialty grain blend adds some complexity with a clean, sweet malt profile and a hint of buttered toast in the aroma and flavor.

An ale version of the light, fizzy American lager style, cream ale is a specialty of the eastern US. A homebrewed lawnmower beer that's pretty hard to beat as a summertime thirst-quencher.

Cream Ale - 1 Gallon

This was my second time to order/brew this particular Cream Ale. The first time it came out great; look, smell, taste, crisp. The second batch I made did not do so well. I called and inquired about using Irish Moss in it help make it a bit more clearer than the first batch. The 2nd batch came very dark, a lot of sediment in the beer and had more of the Kama Citra taste/smell. Somewhat dissappointed with this 2nd batch.

I am enjoying the beer however I am having trouble with the fizz drops as a primer. There is hardly any foam on top when I pour a cold one. The same thing happened when I brewed a different recipe as well. I am following the bottling steps. Any suggestions?
