I use this to color my IPA'S. Used it with the Mars otter the color comes out perfect
This is an excellent malt for adding bready/toasty notes. I like to use quite a bit of it in brown ales, up to 20% of the grist.
Gives a great flavor. Used ~15% in my Scottish 70/- and man it was good! needs a couple of weeks to mellow down and then it blends perfectly, my scottish 70 is really good with this malt, I'm still tweaking the recipe. This is a great malt, just use it sparingly as it is very pungent and it will dominate your beer.
Another fantastic malt that seems to be ignored....
