Product details

Perfect for kegging your homebrew, cider, or soda. These used ball lock 5-gallon kegs are used, but have been tested and approved to hold pressure -- their most important task. Though the exteriors of many show cosmetic damage, we guarantee that they are pressure-capable, as we personally pressure test each and everyone when it comes through our doors. Needed, but not included, is a CO2 cylinder, Regulator, and Ball Lock Gas (KX03) and Beverage (KX05) lines.

Looking for a more comprehensive system? See our Draft Brewer® keg systems.

Along with pressure testing each keg, we replace the lid o-rings and outer-post o-rings, if needed. Kegs will show normal wear and tear, may have stickers, and will also have syrup residue in kegs as we only dump them. Used kegs will require cleaning.

A note about o-rings: If you are concerned about the condition of the o-rings you may purchase extra o-rings separately, in case any tear during use.

This amazing price is worth a few dents! Because these kegs are used, many show exterior wear and tear that will not affect the keg performance to hold pressure. Holding pressure is the keg main function, and it will keep your beer tasting fresh and delicious. The affordability of buying used is definitely worth a few scratches and dents.

Note: Keg Lube can help prevent CO2 leaks and prolong the life of the keg seals.

Note: In order to maintain inventory, our kegs are sourced from multiple locations. They are a mix of single and double-handled kegs and we can not guarantee which style will be shipped when placing an order. Most of the kegs have black protective tops and bottoms but color may vary. The appearance will vary but all our kegs have been tested and approved to hold pressure.

Keg required cleaning as disclosed in the description. Poppets where worn and needed to be replaced but that is just an extra $8 on amazon with the springs and posts included. Even though they said the gaskets are replaced I replaced them anyway for my own self assurance. Overall if you're doing a budget build I highly recommend this product.

Used Cornelius Keg

Recently purchased the used corny keg. Needed a little cleaning and gaskets but overall in good shape for the price.

Used but in good condition

Received keg promplty. Arrived in its own box. Clearly used but not beat up or badly dented. Leftover over soda liquid inside but was easy to clean and sanitize. Posts need to stay with this keg to ensure no leaks / issues. At first I was put off by appearance but I got what i paid for in the end : a used keg in good condition ready to be part of my homebrewery. Good price and I would buy again.

Latest Was Worse Than Previous

Was a cheap buy at around $50 but it had stuff growing in it and had some dents across the welds. Haven't pressure tested yet. Previous one I bought was in much better condition on arrival and didn't have any dents nor any science experiments.

Exactly as expected

Best price I could find on a corny keg anywhere. Exactly as listed, it had some character from previous use but functioned just fine.
