Outstanding dark malt extract for beer making. Easy to pour & mix into broth. It has all the qualities of making any dark type beer, depending on recipe. One of my favorites, and highly recommended.
Not my first dark malt but now the basis for many a dark ale.
I use it for baking, it's got the finish that works well in my rye.
As a long time home brewer, I had developed a method of brewing several different styles of beer I like. My favorite supply store went away and I had to change suppliers. The other stores seemed to be less in tune to those of us who know what we want, more in to the newbies that might be brewing once or twice and just doing it as a novelty. Therefore, you walk in and that is how you are treated. Their prices are high and it seems you can never get the same stuff twice. If I can consistently get the same products and I'm not being treated like it's my first rodeo, I'll stick around. I have yet to use what I have purchased, but I am satisfied with your selections so far and having the shipments delivered to me makes it easier.
Part of a recipe. Can't wait to actually try it.
