Why would you send me a review request quicker than it can be brewed?
Not a 5* because I had to go find better directions for the hops inclusion times. Other then that, it's in it's second fermentation week. Bottling this weekend.
Festivus Miracle Holiday Ale Small Batch Kit
shipping is a little slow BUT the products are always great. I just got done fermenting this. Instructions are easy to follow. Excited to open these at Christmas eve party.
I brewed this beer for a holiday gathering with hopes that it would be a crowd pleaser! However, I was disappointed when I popped open a bottle, with no hiss, and poured it into a glass only to see ZERO carbonation. That didn't effect the taste at all, though. The taste is great, really pungent flavors with a sweetness (maybe a little excessive) that brings out some of the spices that were included in this kit. In the end, it took a couple more months for it to actually get to a decent carbonation level. Not sure if this was the carb drops or improper sanitation. Overall, a good beer!
