Product details

A one-handed counterpressure bottle filler? Yes, the dream has finally become reality! Now you can have properly carbonated and foam-free bottles of beer, without the need for three hands.

The Foamless Finish Counterpressure attachment (Patent Pending) for The Last Straw® adds true foam-free performance to the convenient ease-of-use you've come to expect from your Last Straw®. Gone are the days of having to fiddle with multiple valves just to get the most shelf stable bottles of beer.

The Foamless Finish can be quickly adjusted for any size bottle. Simply purge the bottle with CO2 then press down to fill. The automatic pressure release valve opens without the need for an extra hand, keeping the bottle pressurized to eliminate foaming. And, Foamless Finish is easily disassembled for cleaning.

Proudly Made in the USA. Patent Pending.

Foam less Finish

It works as advertised *If you remember to- have the keg set to correct to psi. *have the bottles chilled and pour yourself a brew first. If the bottle equalizes pressure while filling it’s slow and the only way to get going is to pull the relief valve a bit with your extra hand to let some pressure out of the bottle. Overall worth the purchase if you get extra relief valves.

Works well

All in all this filler does a good job. I am still fine tuning the keg carbonation and bottle filling process so I am hoping for a better bottling experience in the near future. The only challenge is foam control. I use the additional foamless finish accessory, which I think helps a bit, but I still have at least a couple bottles of waste per batch. Aside from that, my only criticism of the Last Straw is the mousy valve at the tip. You need to have the next bottle ready and switch to the empty bottle quick to minimize the dribble from the under engineered valve.

Good idea, but fragile

Hard to maintain seal, there is a little check valve that is really easy to lose

Works Great!

Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve, but this is what sets this bottle filler system apart from Blichmann. Pricey, but grab it when NB runs one of it's many sales.
