Dripping with vivid flavors, Fresh Squished is the beer equivalent of visiting your local fruit stand. Packed with quality ingredients, this mouth-watering IPA recipe kit combines tantalizing aromas of grapefruit, melon, berries, lime and passion fruit that drizzle into a faint herbal, piney background. The sturdy malt foundation of sweet crystal malts and toasty Munich unites with almost indulgent levels of Citra and Mosaic hops to achieve remarkable balance. Pale copper in color, Fresh Squished is overlaid by a fluffy, rich beige foam cap, allowing the juicy aromas to burst forth and enhance every sip.

Notes from Brad, Northern Brewer Development Brewer:

As evidenced by a wildly popular beer produced in the Pacific Northwest, the combination of Citra and Mosaic hops is an instant classic. Late hops additions provide an extraordinary sipping experience full of luscious fruit flavors and aromas. To keep this beer from being a one-trick pony, a fairly modest addition of toasty Munich malt and American caramel malt round out the flavor profile and provides a background for the Citra and Mosaic to shine.

A huge hit! My husband and I took a break from brewing when we had kids. Boiling water and toddlers are a bad combo. This was our first beer back. We love all-grain because it's easier to keep the sweetness down. We brewed this batch and kegged it for a party, and it was gone in less than an hour.

What's funny is, people seem afraid of homebrew. Some think it's dangerous (we know that's not true) but I think lots of people expect it to be mediocre, and then they're afraid they won't be able to pretend it's actually good. For us, the look of sheer surprise on the tasters faces told us all we needed to know. We came home and ordered this kit again (and another). We want a batch just for us!

IPA isn't even my favorite type of beer, but I loved this one.

I highly recommend the All grain NB course. It was $10, and although we had completed quite a few all grain bayches

A good beer; not great, but good. Of course, it might be my technique, being as this is only my second all-grain brew..

Fresh Squished IPA All Grain Beer Recipe Kit

This is my 3rd batch of Fresh Squished IPA. I just kegged it yesterday and am waiting for carbonation to complete, (thus only 4 stars). It is easy to make and if past performance is any indication, it should taste great as we head into warm weather here in South Texas.
