Works great

I’ve made the apartment brewer Irish red recipe several times in the past year. At times the A10 darkness hasn’t been available so I substituted Nottingham. The result is good either way but it’s better with the A10 yeast. Highly recommend the recipe and the yeast.

Imperial A10 Darkness

I have used this yeast to brew three different beers. I made a starter for it each time around 24-30 hours before I pitch. It always takes off immediately and gobbles up all the fermentables, and has produced a solid beer each time. The yeast arrived in a cool pack, and was delivered before the projected delivery date. No complaints.

Consistently makes a great Porter or Stout

This is my go to yeast when making a UK style Stout or Porter, I'm always happy with the results, and this season's stout is no exception.

Best yeast ever

I used this yeast for an Imperial Stout. I made a starter and it was ready to pour into the wort in only 2 hours. It began fermenting by morning and was put in a carboy after 1 week. It's been over 2 weeks and it is still going. I'm looking for 13 %+ alcohol content. I've always had to add wine yeast after primary fermentation, but not this time!
