Excellent performer & tastes great!

I bought this for my Maypole Maibock, and it certainly performed beyond expectations. I've always had great results with Imperial yeasts, and this time was no exception. I pitched warm (68°F) and it took off like gang-busters. I actually had to replace the bubbler with a blow-off tube because the fermentation was so vigorous, even after getting it into the chamber to ferment at 55°F. The OG was 1.056 and FG was 1.013 (76.8% attenuation,) so this yeast certainly did it's job. It dropped really clear, and the beer is phenomenal...a real crowd pleaser. I highly recommend L17, or any other Imperial Yeast strain. You wont be disappointed.

Good clean yeast!

I used the Harvest yeast to brew a 3 gallon batch of Maibock. Fermented at 55 degrees for 2 weeks and came out clear and clean. It’s in the keg lagering now. Preliminary taste was good.

My first lager

Have only brewed ales for the past 10-years and did not know what to expect. Starts after about 36-hours but continues to ferment well at these cooler temperatures. Have no other lager yeast to compare it to.
