Accurate product description and the shipping was timely. Don't use Amazon, use NB where you can ensure the right product/ brand/ style will show up. I am a fan of Imperial Yeast for their double cell count (200 Bil) liquid yeast and wide selection, makes for cleaner beers. Made for a good Oktoberfest that I am now enjoying! Make sure you read about using lager yeast to make sure you have controlled refrigerating conditions at your home, this goes for all lager style yeast strains.
I split a batch between an ale and lager yeast and this lager yeast really cleaned up nice. Beer turned out amazing.
I’ve brewed a variety of lager styles at varying fermentation temps, and I always have a strong, complete fermentation with this yeast. I recommend a starter unless you’re fermenting above 60F.
I love it, works well every time! The extra few bucks for Imperial is wort it. I use their yeast often and never make a starter. That alone is worth the few extra $.
Fermented for 2 weeks at 66F and turned out clean as can be. This is my favorite yeast to use.
