Lalvin D-47 White Wine Yeast
D-47 is a vigorous white wine yeast that will leave a wine very full bodied with enhanced mouthfeel. Accentuates varietal character and contributes ripe tropical fruit and citrus notes. Recommended for Chardonnay and Rose as well as mead, when nutrients are supplemented. Whites, rose, mead. Temperature range: 59° - 68° F (15° - 20° C). Alcohol Tolerance: 14%.

Primarily used for turning plums into wine, this has a great flavor carryover. I was planning on making a pear/plum cider and it came out really well, but it converted sugar faster than I wanted it to and now I have a dry whitish plum wine. I will use this again for sure.
Nice yeast. Easy to rehydrate and pitch. Started fermenting my Chouchen right away! Would definitely use this yeast again.
