I wanted to make a gluten free beer. In order to take some of the harsh sorghum flavors away I added a pound of honey and only one ounce of hops. It turned out quite well and provided me with almost a lemony background flavor. Very good.
Delivered in a timely fashion, have not had a chance to brew, hopefully this Monday. Planning a Sorghum / Buckwheat Gluten Free brew. Will post follow-up after product is finished. Have had only good experiences with Northern Brewer.

I thought this sorghum extract was very interesting. A little tangy compared to barley malt but still a nice change and great way to minimize some bubble guts every now and then! Made a great gluten free pale ale with this l! Went a little lighter on the bittering portion of hops as body is lighter but plenty of finishing hops.
A robust and tasty malt, well suited to many different brews. Its never failed me yet.
